You may have wondered how an independent school education can benefit your child, but have never known who to ask, or where to begin? Well, on February 20, you can find out, at Aberdeen Hall’s annual all-ages open house.
Faculty and staff will be on-hand to answer questions about Aberdeen Hall’s curriculum and programming, which focuses on - among other things - excellence in academics, a robust arts and athletics program, a strong community setting, and small classes that provide students with individual attention.
“Other features of Aberdeen Hall include a resource-rich facility, strong communication with parents, specialty subject-specific teachers, a dedicated university guidance program, and a focus on character development and leadership,” says Chris Grieve, Head of School at Aberdeen Hall.
It’s all set on the school’s beautiful 44-acre campus in Kelowna.
“Starting in Kindergarten, our students receive daily core instruction and have classes in French, music, art, drama, applied design & technology, and P.E.,” says Grieve. “We take pride in our community setting, where the teachers get to know the children well, and look after their individual needs.”
“Our most valuable resource is our people, and the best means of measuring what we are all about is to come for a visit, walk the halls, and to meet the students and faculty," says Grieve.
