Great news! Local golf courses have been given the green light to open for the season!... you just need to play by some new rules. Here is what you need to know (may vary from course to course):
No drop-ins.
Tee times have been reduced and spread out.
Pay with your credit card online or over the phone.
Physical distancing is a MUST. If golfers aren’t keeping a 2 meter distance from each other, courses may be forced to close.
Flags stay in the ground. No pulling them.
Sand rakes are not available. Use your club or foot.
1 person per cart (unless you live together).
Load and unload your own cart. There will probably be a sanitation station to drop it at.
No picking up each other’s clubs. This is a great opportunity to yell at your buddies.
Special shallow cups are being used to avoid contact.
Distanced air-high fives are encouraged.
Clubhouses are closed and food/beverage services are not operating on the courses.
1-3 people in the pro-shop at a time.
Many warm-up greens are closed.
