According to Kelowna Capital News, Bernard Avenue in Kelowna’s downtown will be closed to vehicles this summer! The entire street is set to transition on June 29th to larger patios, outdoor shopping spaces and pedestrian-only thoroughfare.
The strip will run down Bernard Avenue from Safeway to Kelowna City Park. Crossing intersections will remain open and non-motorized vehicles such as bikes will be allowed in designated lanes.
