The Vibe is an entrepreneurial collection of amazing finds. They have items from crafters, artists, artisans and small businesses. The store is split into two separate shops that hug the Historic Vernon Towne Cinema. On one side, the artisan gallery (pictured above) is filled with art, decor, sculptures, hand crafted bird houses, pottery, leather works, locally made kitchen and home wear, preserves and much, much more!
On the other side, a boutique filled with size-inclusive apparel, accessories, bath and body items, baby gift boxes, tumblers and the list goes on!
Need a gift? A new dress, snuggly crew, purse or earrings? How about a fabulous charcuterie board for that dinner party on Friday?
Meet the lady who runs it all! Mishelle is the superwoman-glue who keeps this whole biz together. She’s the operating partner and the woman whose face you’ll see smiling at you when you open the front door.
The shops have a little bit of (almost) everything! From sourced items to 100% locally handmade and all the awesome stuff in between. The Vibe functions as a collaboration of over 100 local do-ers, makers and small business dreamers -and- Mishelle is endlessly working on their further growth and expansion.
They literally have something for everyone. Maybe something for that picky mother-in-law that you never can please…
Or something for the man in your life who already seems to have everything…
Not to mention baby boxes for new moms, beeswax products for your hippy friends, original paintings for that stylish Aunty and maybe, just maybe something cute for yourself too…
The “vibes” at The Vibe? “Supporting another’s success won’t ever dampen yours.” (Author unknown) This is the basis on which The Vibe was created. They are strong believers in community and are proud cheerleaders for all of their small business neighbours throughout the Okanagan. How awesome is that?!
